Bhaskaracharya Institute for Space Applications and Geoinformatics (BISAG) [formerly “Remote Sensing and Communication Centre (RESECO) and renamed after the great Indian Mathematician of the 12th century, “Bhaskaracharya” in December 2003], was set up in July 1997 as a Registered society under the Societies Registration Act 1860 vide Education Department’s Resolution No. STC-1096-21-S&T dated February 26, 1997.     more...
