ISR is establishing a Geophysical data centre for the first time in India. It will have different Geophysical data sets, information about current earthquakes, catalogues of earthquakes in different states and GIS based intelligent earthquake hazard maps.

Seismic Data Analysis Centre (SeiDac)
For the first time in India epicenter and magnitudes of the earthquakes are determined within 10 minutes of the arrival of seismic waves. Sample set is shown in adjacent figure.
